Vineyard Landscape of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato covers five distinct wine-growing areas with outstanding landscapes and the Castle of Cavour, an emblematic name both in the development of vineyards and in Italian history. It is located in the southern part of Piedmont, between the Po River and the Ligurian Appenines, and encompasses the whole range of technical and economic processes relating to the winegrowing and wine making that has characterized the region for centuries. Vine pollen has been found in the area dating from the 5th century BC, when Piedmont was a place of contact and trade between the Etruscans and the Celts; Etruscan and Celtic words , particularly wine-related ones, are still found in the local dialect. During the Roman Empire, Pliny the Elder mentions the Piedmont region as being one of the most favourable for growing vines in ancient Italy; Strabo mentions its barrels.

we have been feverishly working on our new projects and technologies, among them the new "KYNESIS" INNOVATIVE DISPERSING.
Born to increase efficiency and fastness when making a powder slurry, our revolutionary high speed dispersing technology works according to the rotor-stator-principle.
The continuous inline dispersion - thanks to its combined effect of different particle reduction - achieved a high shear gradient and a very fine distribution of solid particles (suspensions) and liquids (emulsions)

The future of Comec as part of Dromont Group is now a solid reality.
Yesterday, July 17 2013, Comec Srl, a Dromont affiliate specialized in the field of milling and dispersing machinery for paints, has won the auction that allows the final acquisition of the business unit.
The success of this important corporate transaction can be defined as the natural consequence of the Agreement that exactly one year ago has allowed Comec Srl to take over the business, preserving previous jobs while restarting the production of a historic company, established 1970 in Canossa, near Bologna.

The brand Comec is also reaffirming both domestically and internationally, thanks to the leadership of its mother company Dromont Spa, a major player in production and engineering of tinting machinery, industrial plants and high technology factory systems.
“It is extremely gratifying to work for a company that considers the employee’s training and the technological renewal a priority, furthermore, thanks to corporate policies, we feel proud of our Made in Italy technology" – that is how some co-workers commented.
"The achieved successes are the result of the commitment of all parties involved and the mutual trust that has gradually established among the staff and the management - said the President of Comec - We all believed from the start in this project and it is a satisfaction to reach this first goal Dromont and Comec together”.
COMEC will be launching new products later this year, thanks to empowered R&D programs, in a number of international shows around the globe in cooperation with Dromont S.p.A.
